You can easily and quickly mount the «Neo» and the «Neo+» on almost any type of crutch or walking stick and adapted to your body size. (The tube diameter must be between 18.5 and 22mm for the foot and between 21.5 and 25.6mm for the handle).
A reflector band increases your safety at night.
And you can easily hang light bags on "the nose".
What else you will need (you can also buy a set from us):
- 2x M4x6 screws (to fix the filament in the levers)
- 12x M4x20 screws (blocker, legs and fixing stand element and handle)
- 3x 10x5mm neodymium magnets for handle and belt clip (magnetised to N52, carries about 3.3kg, see www.supermagnete.com)
- 4x 5x10mm neodymium magnets for blocker (weaker magnets will do, see www.supermagnete.com)
- Monofibre nylon line (1.5-1.8mm, at least 80cm) or 1.75mm-Filament, but this might break, depending on make. Heat one end of each slightly with a lighter and push lengthwise to create a stopper.
- 1x rubber band for the retracting mechanism of the legs (30mm x 1,2mm x 3mm, see www.sprintis.eu, article no.: GR.30.3.03.1KG.247). However, any rubber band can also be used (even several thin ones), try twisting it to shorten and lengthwise so that it has less contact with the screws of the legs.
- 4x door sealing strips 1-2mm, so that the assembled parts do not slide on the tube. 2 per half piece.
- 1x anti-slip rubber for the "nose". The dimensions should be: Width 10mm and depth 5mm. See www.poesia.ch, article n°: TR7).
- 1x Reflective tape. The dimensions should be: Width 10mm.
- Some silicone oil or grease for the sliding parts like legs, teeth, stoppers and levers. Please avoid greasing the rubber band (unless you use silicone oil) and the threads.
Warning: Even though there are far stronger neodymium magnets, already the ones listed above are not to be underestimated. These do not belong in the mouth, on the earlobe or in the fingers of children! Therefore, find out how to ensure safe handling! Thank you!
